BREAKING 60
We can't believe you're here!  The only way we thought someone might make it to this page is because they were lost.

We don't personally know of anyone who's accomplished this milestone.  There have been some top pros to pull it off, but not many.

Since we have your attention and interest, let's dive in and see what needs to happen for lightning to strike.

FEATURED PRODUCT

MISSION 59:

Is this mission impossible?  Not quite, but the stars will have to be aligned just right to go this low.

  • Obviously you are an excellent player.  If you're not playing on tour already, please go and sign up.  And if you need an agent, let us know.
  • You must have expert course knowledge to the point you may have designed it.
  • Must be locked in on all facets of your game and in the zone.
  • There can be only 1 or 2 mistakes made during your round.  (These would probably be on the short grass.)
  • To shoot 59, one must score a bare minimum of 29 on one side and 30 on the other.
  • You will need to hit fairways and greens all day long, all day strong.
  • Positioning on the fairways and greens will be paramount to avoiding hazards.
  • Since you're going to need over double digit birdies, you'll need to leave yourself fairly close putts, preferably uphill.
  • You'll need to be lethal with your putter, and your total putts for the round will have to be in the low 20's.  That is if you don't hole one out or chip one or two in.  You'll need to average about 1.2 to 1.3 putts a hole.
  • On a par 72 course, you will need to birdie 13 of the 18 holes and par the rest.  If you eagle a hole or two then maybe only 11 or 12 birdies will be needed.
  • If this seems daunting, it is, but you can choose a course with a par 70 or lower that would give you a better shot than a standard par 72 and lower the birdie number.
  • You're not allowed to take a shot off mentally.  Not even one as a bogey or higher can destroy your chances.
  • If you're not a casual observer checking out this page for giggles, then we wish you the best in your quest for one of the all time best rounds in golf.
Mission accomplished?

We're not naive enough to think that after reading this section that you'll go out and shoot 59 today or tomorrow.  But hopefully with some luck, and the round only a few golfers can dream about, you'll have a chance to reach your new low.  Use our
forum to discuss what others are doing in their quest.  And, if you do card a number in the 50's, please come back to our forum to tell us all about it.  We love a great success story.

Good luck and may birdies be plentiful and the bounces be kind!
